We don’t charge membership fees and we have different levels based on how involved you want to get. You can scale your engagement up or down at any time. The more you put in, the more you’ll get out.
Quorum1 exists to grow work joy through human connection & collaboration. This is not an anonymous online community. Everyone who joins is looking for some form of direct collaboration: creating a startup, consulting work, learning, or anything else.

Membership Structure
We have two primary tiers of membership, and you can move between them as needed:
Community Members have basic access to most aspects of the community, do not have to formally sign a legal agreement and are not able to participate in paid work. This is where we recommend that most people begin. Then you can explore around, see the value, and upgrade to Contributor if & when you’re interested.
Contributor Members sign an independent contractor agreement, either as an individual or via a corporate entity. Contributors are able to work on paid projects and have full access to all parts of the community, including things like IP pooling, revenue sharing, and passive income opportunities.
Q1 also has a Partner Member tier which gives you an equal ownership share in our underlying corporate entity. Almost anyone is able to become a Partner if they’re interested, but Partner status does not grant many special abilities beyond those of a Contributor. There is a modest annual Partner Fee and becoming a Partner requires establishing trust as a Contributor first.

As a Community Member you can still earn Q-Credits (our official community currency) and participate in Profit Sharing. But because you won’t be setup to receive cash payments from the quorum, any profits you receive will be redeemable as either a non-profit donation or a Quorum1 coupon for you or your company.
